Svedbergs was founded 1920 by Holger Svedberg, who made milk churns for the local farms. In 1962 Svedbergs started as a pioneer to design and manufacture complete bathroom interiors. Svedbergs is today the market leader in the Nordic region, and is tirelessly working to improve the complete bathroom range in order to offer the customer an comprehensive bathroom solution. The parent company is based in Dalstorp, south west Sweden where most of the production still takes place. The company has four wholly owned subsidiaries Svedbergs OY (Finland), Svedbergs of Sweden (UK), Svedbergs Estonia AS (Estonia) and Orregent AB. Svedbergs became quoted on the Swedish stock market October 3rd 1997 and is listed on the O-list. Swedish Comfort, JM, NCC, Interpares, Dahl, Onninen, Ahlsell VVS, Byggbeslag, DT Group: Beijer Sweden, Stark Denmark and Starkki Finland, Norwegian Bademiljo, Danish Ditas (XL Bygg), Sani stål and the Finish Kesko are a few of Svedbergs 3500 customers.
